Route 5: Sierra del Cordón. Miradores de las Estrellas y de las Carrascas

Route summary: Our route goes and returns by the slopes of the Sierra del Cordón, looking for its highlands, so it will pass a few meters away from the summits of Arropájaro and Cordón. When the route returns to go into the road, it will reach the north boundary of the region and it can take a look over the beautiful lands of Las Hurdes from the Mirador de las Carrascas and the Mirador de las Estrellas. They are magnificent places to observe the high valleys of the Hurdano and the Ladrillar and to know the almost impossible location of some villages, as Robledo, Carabusino, La Huetre or Casares de Las Hurdes.
